Coffee Love #2

Hey friends,

Some time back, I ordered some Stamploration  goodies (my first) ! As I was ordering directly from US to my Indian address, I was a bit apprehensive but with the prompt help of Shery (owner of company) I got my stuff safely within 10 days of ordering. I really like the companies who goes an extra mile to help their customers. I instantly became fan of Stamploration! Thank you Shery for excellent customer service.

Today, I am sharing three wall arts (soon going to be framed) I made using their stamps. They are very simple but I think will look great on any cafe's wall ! These are going to be hanged in my hubby's office in cafeteria!

Pretty simple they are! Stamped with archival ink and colored with peerless water colors!

See you tomorrow with another coffee card!

Coffee Time

Hey friends,

Today, I am sharing a card I made for Jane's DT post. I have used one of my favorite stamp set Coffee Time. Lately, I am collecting all the tea & coffee sets. Looks like I got addicted to them...;) .

I stamped and masked and stamped images with archival black ink and colored with peerless water colors.

Check the hand made mask through which I stamped that mesh background in Delicata gold pigment ink. The best golden ink I have used ever.

Coffee beans were embossed in gold ,colored with instant coffee decoction and fussy cut. I also painted the shadow beneath percolator and saucer with the same liquid. So the card smells good too...:). Actually, wanted to mix instant coffee with clear embossing powder and emboss with it. But the weather is very humid so coffee powder turned in to a lumps while i was mixing it with embossing powder. Have to try with ground beans ...:)

That is all for today! Have a great day!

Coffee Love

Hey there,

This is my second post today. And it is Jane's Doodles DT post. I have used Coffee Time set. Ya, I am telling you...this one is going to be my favourite for long long time.

Here is my card.

I stamped images using masks with archival ink.  I cut the centre with a tag die and hold the tag in its place with washi tape and embossed the corner of the card. I coloured images on the tag with peerless water colours . I cut 6 more tags out of CS and stacked them under the coloured tag for dimension.

I had so much fun making this...:)

That's all for the day! I will be back soon. Hugs.

Jane's doodle stamps release!

Hello crafty friends,

Today, we are having New stamp release blog hop at Jane's Doodle. She is releasing two new stamps sets. Have a look.

            1. Coffee Time

Coffee Time

If you are a coffee lover just like me, this is must have. I love that it has many images related to coffee. Clean lines, fun to colour and fussy cut and cool sentiments.

2. Love Bird

Love Birds

This set has some cute birds and great for valentine. That solid heart border is perfect for building background!

For the above card, I stamped all the images with versamark black on a panel. I coloured them with peerless colours. Sentiment is embossed in white and I added a string and wood veneer hearts  to finish it off.

For this card, I stamped images with memento ink and coloured it with copic. I converted that tiny heart stamp in to balloons by adding some hand drawn  knots and strings.
I also wrapped some golden string near the base of the panel to give backdrop for sentiment.

Check out what other DT have created! And don't forget to comment because if you are a winner you get two sets of your choice. And Jane is offering 15% off all sets during weekends.

So, hop on.....

Neha (That's Me!)

Hope you will like my cards and get inspired to try these sets...:)

Have an awesome cafty time. See ya!

Love you More

Hey friends,

I am stopping by to share a card I made for caseploration challenge by STAPlorations. The inspiration image is by Laura Bassen so I had to play. I love her designs, and videos and rainbows and everything in-between. Here is the inspiration image

She has used stencil and embosing paste with reinkers to get that ombre, raised effect. I was inspired by the 3D look, ombre & bold sentiment.

Here is my card:

I coloured water colour panel with peerless water colours in various pinks and reds to get that ombre look. I die cut several hearts with dies and mount them with foam tape for 3D effect. The sentiment is by Reverse Confetti. Also added that loose thread behind sentiment.

Close - ups.

Paint it Pink!

Hello Friends,

Today, I am sharing a card which was inspired by Chaitali's post HERE! She lost her mom recently to the breast cancer. She started this hop ( i am not a part of hop but couldn't help myself) to spread awareness about the importance of early detection of BC to cure it!

This post really touched my heart as my own mom is a BC survivor.  It's been 8 years since she is cancer free! Being a daughter that put me at higher risk of having BC myself. I am undergoing check up regularly and I urge you all to do the same. I have seen her pain and agony. There were days when she won't even get up from bed. I myself have shaved her head after second chemo with a hope that her hair will grow back. And they did! Her BC was detected in early stage so we could fight it off. She is a strong woman, her faith and positive attitude did miracle. I am so proud of her and I hope to inherit the same spirit and attitude towards life.

So, I dedicate this card to my mom and all the women fighting BC. Keep fighting, never give up because as Dr. Seuss said "Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem."

I have used Verve stamps for sentiment and peerless water colours for background!. This design is influenced by Amy's card HERE!

Chaitali is also an illustrator for Verve Stamps and she has designed beautiful sets with superb sentiments HERE and HERE!

That is all for today. Take good care of yourself. Hugs!

Peerless water colours

Hi friends,

Recently I bought these pretty pretty Peerless water colours. They are transperent and very vibrant. They comes in form of dry sheet which looks like coloured paper swatches. They are very concentrated so you just need tiny bit of it.

I went ahead and stick them on folded 300 gsm water colour paper and made a small booklet for easy use.

I also did some simple swatch below each colours. This is really required as you can see the pigments on sheets are very concentrated and  look very different from actual colours.

And here is the card I made with it.

When ever it comes to colouring images, I prefer Jane's Doodles stamps as their out lines are quite thick and have very nice sentiments too. As it was my first try with these colours, I went for single colours only. They blend effortlessly. I embossed the flowers in white, wet them with water, drop little bit of pigments in wet are and allow it to spread along with water. It is super easy and results are just fabulous.

See you soon with more colour blending experiments.
