Ombre - Virginia's View Challenge

Hi Friend ,

It's been a while since I played along Virginia's challenge. But I made this card for me DT post On Crafters Corner Blog  and thought this will go perfectly with on going challenge. The theme is monochromatic/ ombre.

My take on this is

I have used Hero Arts - Twid Pattern Background stamp for the frame. And this very old hero art stamp. This set is very close to my heart as it was gifted by a very good friend , years back!

All the inks are by Mama Elephant. As Laura says they blend like butter. I just love these inks. I used Simon Says Stamps stitched rectangle die and sentiment.

Hope you are playing along this fun challenge too.

Love

Shaker Card

Hello Friends,

After a long absence from the blogland, I am back with a valentine  card today. And it is a shaker(yay!...i love shaker) cards.

I cut the white panel with Lawn Fawn die & shaded the back drop with Simon Says Hotlips ink. (Yup...  Laura effect...:)... totally! ). I mounted the panel with few sequins in each heart. I used PTI die for 'you' and sentiment is from mama elephant stamp set.

close ups:

I am entering it for
"Just Us Girls" - JUGS#278-Wild Card Week

Hope you will like it. I will be back soon with some more valentine cards. Hugs.

Ombré Thank You

Hello Friends,

It is a quick post today! A thank you card with lots of embossing & distress inks.

I started with embossing the chevron borders (PTI) in silver on a panel of white card stock.
Blend various distress inks in blue to get that Ombre effect. Cut two white & 2 black feathers with SSS die. I spattered white feathers with different inks & embossed the tips with gold embossing powder along with aged silver embossing enamel. I embossed sentiment (PTI) on vellum and fussy cut it. I cut the embossed panel length wise and insert silver glitter paper in between to create little drama and mounted it on white card base.

To finish it off, i added metal coin, metal ring charm, silver thread & some enamel dots.

I had fun making it. I hope you all will enjoy it as well.
