You are wonderful!

Hello there,

Today, I am on Jane's Doodles blog with this card. I have used Magnolia from her latest release. These are just gorgeous flowers and no wonder they are sold out right now but she is taking preorders for the same. So book yours if you haven't done that already.

In my recent visit to Seattle, we went to see the cherry blossom at University of Washington Arboretum. Along with cherry blossom, there were plenty of magnolias too! The tree is so elegant and magnificent , it just stands there in all its splendor with all those delicate blooms. The pictures don't do justice at all but they were the inspiration for my today's card!

I have used kraft card stock as base and for the flowers as well. Flowers are heat embossed in white on kraft, colored using copics and white prisma color pencil. The branch die is by memory box. I finished it of with some white splatter and few enamel dots.

Love how it turned out! Hope you love it too! Thanks for being here.

NBUS Challenge #8

Hello Friend,

My crafty friend Darnell is celebrating 5th birthaversary of her blog along with 1000+ followers as well as posts. My today's card is for NBUS Challenge #8. The theme is color pencil on kraft. A while back I got the altenew-peony bouquet stamp set to practice pencil coloring with just out lined image while using the layered stamped image as guide line. But never got chance to start with it. So when I saw the theme of challenge, I knew what I wanted to do...:) Here is the card!

I stamped the outline flower with versafine ink using MISTI on kraft cs. I left the stamp in its place in MISTI. I colored the flower and leaves with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils. A zillion and some strokes after, once you are happy with the coloring, put the cs back in the MISTI and stamp with versafine once again to reinforce the black outline for a crisp image. These pencils are very creamy and you can build layers very efficiently with them.

Please visit her blog if you haven't done that already. There are many prices to win and it is always a pleasure to read her posts. Her wit makes me smile...always!

Home Sweet Home : Jane's Doodles

Hello Friends,

I am on JD's blog with this card.

I have used home-sweet-home set. Lately, I am enjoying colouring on kraft card stock and Jane's stamps are perfect for colouring.  I have used Inktense pencils for adding colours to home! The wavy die is by MFT.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you soon!
