Jane's Doodles Blog Hop

Hello Friends,

It is the blog hop time @ Jane's Doodles. We are showcasing the new stamp set 'Cozy Up' . You must have come from Milka's blog here but if you get lost I have a hop order in the end.

The stamp set is beautiful with many images to create a cozy scene.

I have created a scene where you are missing someone and books and coffee are keeping you company...:) quite cozy isn't it?

Here is my card.

For my card, I stamped 2 chair images and a book stack on a white card stock. I used copic to color them and fussy cut all. I added some pattern paper at the bottom of card. I stamped table, cup and lamp directly on the base and colored them. I mounted fussy cut elements and sentiment using 3d foam tape.

Jane is  having a 25% off sale on all clear stamps until this Wednesday, she is giving a stamp set of your choice to one lucky winner. So please comment on all the blogs in the hop and you can be a lucky winner.

Hello Friends,

Today, I am sharing 2 cards I made for blog hop @ Jane's Doodles. We are releasing three new sets which you are going to love. They are Happy Camper, Patterns and Out Doors. These are beautiful sets which you can use for Holiday cards too. Love their versatility!

First card is made using Happy Camper set.

First I cut the edge of the panel using a die. I used masks of the images and stamped them to create a scene. All the images are colored using copic markers and colored pencils. I also stamped a pattern on white card base to add some interest.

For the second card, I stamped moose  and raccoon , colored and fussy cut them.

I cut two frames from burnt orange and white card stock. I colored internal pieces of white frames using distress oxides and stamped them with few patterns from Patterns set. I also stamped sentiment in black  and added fussy cut images.

Don't you think these are most adorable sets? I am totally in love with them.

Now coming to the blog hop, all the sets are 20% off for Monday and Tuesday! There will be one random winner from all designers blog who will get a stamp set of her choice. So please visit all my co-dts blog and enjoy their creations and leave some love on all the posts to win a stamp set.

Friendship is strength

Hi there,

I am sharing a card which I made according to client's brief. The brief was simple... for a friend who is always there for me and she has blue hair. This stamp set Special Bond is  by Unity Stamp Company was a perfect fit with that beautiful sentiment. I used copic markers to color the image.

As you know, pattern papers and layering is not my strong points but I like the Indigo Hill pattern papers by Pinkfresh Studio so much that I had to use them. Love how this card turned out. It has lots of dimension as i used foam tape to mount those layers.

That is all for today! Se you soon!

You are wonderful!

Hello there,

Today, I am on Jane's Doodles blog with this card. I have used Magnolia from her latest release. These are just gorgeous flowers and no wonder they are sold out right now but she is taking preorders for the same. So book yours if you haven't done that already.

In my recent visit to Seattle, we went to see the cherry blossom at University of Washington Arboretum. Along with cherry blossom, there were plenty of magnolias too! The tree is so elegant and magnificent , it just stands there in all its splendor with all those delicate blooms. The pictures don't do justice at all but they were the inspiration for my today's card!

I have used kraft card stock as base and for the flowers as well. Flowers are heat embossed in white on kraft, colored using copics and white prisma color pencil. The branch die is by memory box. I finished it of with some white splatter and few enamel dots.

Love how it turned out! Hope you love it too! Thanks for being here.

Paru's Challenge - New

Hey Friends,

Today, I am playing along with my friend's blog challenge - Paru's cardmaking challenges. Paru has started this monthly challenge and I am so excited to take part in it. This month's key word is NEW. For that I am using my new Stampingbella stamp. I just love those stamps. So much fun to colour.

I stamped image on Neenah CS with memento black ink and coloured it with copics. For the backdrop of sentiment - I used sumburst stencil to add pattern on paper, stamp the sentiment and hand cut that comic style speech bubble. Learning copic coloring is one of my resolution for this year, let's see how far I can go...:)

Hope you have already entered your entry. See you soon!

Hello crafty friends,

Today, we are having New stamp release blog hop at Jane's Doodle. She is releasing two new stamps sets. Have a look.

            1. Coffee Time

Coffee Time

If you are a coffee lover just like me, this is must have. I love that it has many images related to coffee. Clean lines, fun to colour and fussy cut and cool sentiments.

2. Love Bird

Love Birds

This set has some cute birds and great for valentine. That solid heart border is perfect for building background!

For the above card, I stamped all the images with versamark black on a panel. I coloured them with peerless colours. Sentiment is embossed in white and I added a string and wood veneer hearts  to finish it off.

For this card, I stamped images with memento ink and coloured it with copic. I converted that tiny heart stamp in to balloons by adding some hand drawn  knots and strings.
I also wrapped some golden string near the base of the panel to give backdrop for sentiment.

Check out what other DT have created! And don't forget to comment because if you are a winner you get two sets of your choice. And Jane is offering 15% off all sets during weekends.

So, hop on.....

Jane's Doodles - Rain or shine

Hello Friends,

I hope you all are doing good and enjoying the winter weather. But my friends in Chennai are having rough time. They were hit by the highest rainfall of the century! The whole city just submerged for days. Water logging and intermittent episodes of more rain is adding to their agony.

Today's card is for all my Chennai friends who need little sunshine right now! Sending them lots of love and prayers and wishing them blue skies and sunny days!

I have used Jane's Doodles new release stamp Rain or Shine !

I took a panel of sky blue card stock. I stamped it with text background and applied gesso randomly to soften the colour and text and allow it to merge in background. I also stamped fence form Jane's Double Trouble set. I die-cut clouds with PTI die and mount the panel with foam tape to give dimension. I adhere those sparkling clear sequins by Pretty Pink Posh  to create a faux shaker look.
( I have a confession - till now I was being cheap an using locally available sequins. But a month back I got a chance to buy these PPP sequins and boy oh boy... how sparkly they are! They immediately lift your card a notch higher! Love it!)
The images are coloured with copic, sun and umbrella are fussy cut, sending is from Simonsays stamp and sunshine is PTI die.

That's all for today! I will be back with something other than card...:) ! Stay tuned and keep crafting!

Hugs!

Friendship

Hi Friends,

How are you all? I apologize for being very irregular at blogging. I am going through some weird phase... I am crafting a lot but don't feel like taking pictures and writing posts or even uploading on FB. I have to straighten up things before it becomes permanent.

Here is today's card.

To mix and match image with sentiment stamps is one of my favourite thing. This Art Impression stamp is just image of two friends. I used mama elephant sentiment which i think goes very well with these girls. Paper clips are by PTI. I have used copics to color the image.  Hope you will like this card.

I will be back soon with some Rakhi cards. Oh! that reminds me, I have to take pictures before I handover them to customers...:P . Hugs!
