You are hot!

Hello friends,

I am on Jane's Doodles blog whit a HOT card...:P

I used Jane's Doodles Food on the go stamp set to create focal point. The Images are colored with Copics. For the backgound I did partial ink blending with a circle mask & embossed the panel with Kaisercraft embossing folder!

Love the balance of simple design and enough interest in background.

Thanks for being here ! Have a lovely day!

Oh Ship!

Hi there,

It is my turn on Jane's Doodles blog and i have made a birthday card using her Oh Ship stamp set.

The card colors were inspired by those blue and red pattern papers. They have anchor pattern so I thought it will go well with ship stamp. I made narrow stripes and glued them for that nautical feel. This stamp is very versatile. It can be used for baby card and belated birthday too. ' Oh Ship...I missed your birthday' ...:)

Thanks to be here. Hugs!

Lemonade Sun

Hi friends,

This summer is really harsh. Temperature is soaring and I can't think of anything other than watermelons and lemonades. Yesterday was so hot and humid that even  the sun needed to cool down so it beamed down to drink some lemonade....:P

Fun! Isn't it? I have used Jane's Doodles Life is good and rain or shine stamp set.

You are SWEET

Hello friends,

Today, I am sharing a card made for Jane's Doodles blog. It was inspired by a cookery show I was watching while eating watermelon...:P . The summer is really getting worst every year where I live. Temperature is soaring  47 degree centigrade during day time. Nights are very warm too. So we eat lots of fresh fruits specially water melons to keep us hydrated as well as to avoid craving for ice cream at night!

I was watching some cookery show where the contestant made deconstructed dessert, so I combined the idea of deconstructed dessert and watermelon to make this card.

I simply die cut a panel from water color card stock and painted it using mission gold water colors. Stamped the water melon Popsicle stamp from Cool set & fussy cut just the melon part. For the border I used outline rain drop stamp from Rain Or Shine set and just filled it with black scribbled lines. I also applied wink of stella shimmer on slices of water melon which is not visible though.

Hope you like my idea! Thanks for being here. Happy crafting!

You are wonderful!

Hello there,

Today, I am on Jane's Doodles blog with this card. I have used Magnolia from her latest release. These are just gorgeous flowers and no wonder they are sold out right now but she is taking preorders for the same. So book yours if you haven't done that already.

In my recent visit to Seattle, we went to see the cherry blossom at University of Washington Arboretum. Along with cherry blossom, there were plenty of magnolias too! The tree is so elegant and magnificent , it just stands there in all its splendor with all those delicate blooms. The pictures don't do justice at all but they were the inspiration for my today's card!

I have used kraft card stock as base and for the flowers as well. Flowers are heat embossed in white on kraft, colored using copics and white prisma color pencil. The branch die is by memory box. I finished it of with some white splatter and few enamel dots.

Love how it turned out! Hope you love it too! Thanks for being here.

Better late than never : A belated birthday card

Hello friend ,

I made this card for Jane's Blog.

I used MFT die to cut the window from a pattern paper from PTI. I think the die's stitched detail and black out lines on panel goes well together.  Ink blended the backdrop with oxides and stamped some grass. Stamped sentiment before mounting panel using foam tape. Turtle, cake and party hat is colored with copics. Here is the closeup.

Hope you like it! Thanks & Hugs!

Blog Hop @ Jane's Doodles

Hi there,

I am back to crafting after a long break (5 weeks). I was with my son in Seattle. We had fantastic time together and have to admit, I did not miss crafting....:P ! It still feels so surreal.

Now back to reality! I am sharing few projects which are part of a blog hop @ jane's doodles. We are releasing three stamps sets which you all are gonna love.

                  Bless Your Heart                   Homemade                                       Magnolia

 Bless Your Heart                  Homemade                      Magnolia

Let's check the first project where I have used Magnolia & Bless your heart sets.

Magnolia is a beautiful set with 6 flowers and 2 buds. Love the size and shape variation of all the stamps. Also the flowers look very natural and organic. I stamped flowers on Strathmore water color panel with archival ink and colored them with Mission Gold Water colors. I tried to achieve  loose, pixelated look.  Here is the colse up

The sentiment is from Bless your heart stamp set.

Second project is couple of treat boxes for which I have used Homemade stamps set. It has cute images of backing utensils and some lovely sentiments.

The boxes are 4" x 2 7/8" in dimension .  I used plain card stocks to make these treat boxes/bags. I cut, score and stamped the CS before folding. I also made 2 cute tags to go with them.

Third card is mini 3x4 " card.

Love how it turned out...:)

I hope you enjoyed the projects.

This is the card I made for Jane's Doodles blog! I love this stamp set and I am looking for more sentiments to go with these beautiful plants. Coloring succulents is always fun as every time you can try some new combinations. I stamped and colored images on little larger that a2 size and cropped to desired smaller size. Sunflowers and alcohol inks

Hello friends,

I am sharing a card made for Jane's Doodles blog . I have used alcohol inks on yupo paper. This technique is so much in trends right now but not new for me. I have experimented with this mediums 2 years back and loved it since then. I will share few old post and pics in the end.

I have use ranger alcohol inks in yellow and brown with blending solution. Sunflowers are embossed in white on vellum and colored from the back with copics to give depth.

You can see the close up of inky background below.

Pretty artsy , isn't it?

You can check 2 posts i did in 2016 HERE and HERE. It has few videos of process too!

Below are few art work I did for an exhibition. They are not proper but at least I remembered to take photos of few before they were sold out.
