Hi friends,
It has been long since I posted my experiments. I love experimenting with different mediums. This time it is Yupo paper. It is synthetic paper with a sleek but matt (unlike glossy paper) surface. The alcohol inks works so beautifully along with blending solution on this paper. It is amazing to watch it...pour some inks, blending solution and see mesmerizing stuff happening...totally magical and liberating! I was heavily inspired by lots of videos and work from internet but major influence was June Rollin's dreamscapes.
I used Ranger's yupo paper, alcohol inks, blending solution, straw, ear buds and paint brush to create all these amazing art. They are 3.5 x 5 inches.

For this I have used straw to blow the inks.
I may stamp a tree or something before framing this but check the depth and layers it is forming.
This one is my favourite. Love the transparency and texture it creates. Few close ups.
My version of poppies...:) Branches are created by blowing inks.
The sunflowers are more controled as I have use paint brush to shape petals.
I had a amethyst rock slice and this is inspired by it.
The trees are drawn (i know...have to do better job at it...;) ) by lifting ink with ear bud dipped in alcohol solution.
love the contrast of sharp details in side the circle and soft background.
Isn't this gorgeous? See how it gives 3D effect.
I may work some more on some of these and finally going to frame them. I will share once again with framing. I had super duper fun time crating these. Try it... I am sure you will love it too...:)
Thanks for stopping by. I would love to see what you all think about it so please leave your feed back in comments! Hugs.
