Peerless water colours

Hi friends,

Recently I bought these pretty pretty Peerless water colours. They are transperent and very vibrant. They comes in form of dry sheet which looks like coloured paper swatches. They are very concentrated so you just need tiny bit of it.

I went ahead and stick them on folded 300 gsm water colour paper and made a small booklet for easy use.

I also did some simple swatch below each colours. This is really required as you can see the pigments on sheets are very concentrated and  look very different from actual colours.

And here is the card I made with it.

When ever it comes to colouring images, I prefer Jane's Doodles stamps as their out lines are quite thick and have very nice sentiments too. As it was my first try with these colours, I went for single colours only. They blend effortlessly. I embossed the flowers in white, wet them with water, drop little bit of pigments in wet are and allow it to spread along with water. It is super easy and results are just fabulous.

See you soon with more colour blending experiments.

RIC #90

Hi there,

I am sharing a card I made for Runway Inspired Challenge #90-Monique Lhuillier

Here is the inspiration picture.

RIC # 90

...and here is my take on it.

I used Collage Clay with colorbox reinker to color it .

Used stencil and applied the clay on a white precut panel. I marked the edge of the panel on white CS and stamped various flowers and leaves. I mounted the panen with 3d foam tape & finish it off with sentiment and a white embossed & water colored butterfly.

Close Up.

Hope you will like it!

Challenge I am entering it

Rakhi Cards

Hey Friends,

Popping here for  a quick post today. I wanted to share Rakhi cards I made this year.
Here goes the first one.

I applied squeezed lemon distress ink on white CS. Added stencilled triangle with mustard seed ink. Emboss some more triangles in gold with WPlus9 stamp. Added sentiment and some bling.

For the second card, I used Altenew cityscape stamp on Papertrey ink pattern paper. I stamped the same stamp on a white panel & coloured the top with distress inks & stamp the sentiment.

Align and adhere the ready panel on card base.

Third card is very simple. All stamps an dies are from Papertrey Ink. Added some pattern paper and silver glitter border on the edge.

Hope you like the cards. I will be back soon...keep crafting. Hugs.

Friendship

Hi Friends,

How are you all? I apologize for being very irregular at blogging. I am going through some weird phase... I am crafting a lot but don't feel like taking pictures and writing posts or even uploading on FB. I have to straighten up things before it becomes permanent.

Here is today's card.

To mix and match image with sentiment stamps is one of my favourite thing. This Art Impression stamp is just image of two friends. I used mama elephant sentiment which i think goes very well with these girls. Paper clips are by PTI. I have used copics to color the image.  Hope you will like this card.

I will be back soon with some Rakhi cards. Oh! that reminds me, I have to take pictures before I handover them to customers...:P . Hugs!

Jane's Doodle

Hello friends,

I am sharing a card i made today using Jane's Doodle stamps. I have said this zillion times, yet saying it again - I love her stamps. First, let's have a look at card.

I have used two sets -  Hello Friend and Wise Owl . I first created masks of tree trunk and fox. Stamped the background with black and grey inks and lots of masking.
Added green cs, sentiment & copic colored focal point.
I just love how it conveys the sentiment...just superb.

Hope you will also like it.
See you soon....!

simple cards

Hello Friends,

Last week my son came from USA for his vacation and along with him came my long awaited craft supply. I ordered some supply from Butterfly Reflections Ink . Just love Vanessa's collection of  different brands. Very selective, trendy and thoughtful. And time and again she comes up with discounts which makes it even more sweeter.

I am sharing two cards today. They both are made using same embossing folder from her store.

When I put that folder in my cart, I knew exactly how I am going to use it. love those Mama Elephant sentiments and I think they go well with this folder. I love those cards which take least time  to design. I think they are the most effective ones.

Hope you will like these simple beauties.
Hugs

Altenew stamps

Hi there,

This is my second post, today! In here i am sharing two cards I made using Altenew stamps.

 Here is my first card.

For this I use Altenew -striped flowers set and colored it with copic. I am getting grip on copic colouring now. Love them. Sentiment is by Penny Black.

For the second card, I have used Figure Effect. I love this set for its whimsical, fun filled stick figures.

I used tiny - i love you- stamp to make a backdrop for the main panel. I also added gold splatter on it. Green slopes are made using Hero Arts Ink Daubers. 'More than ...' sentiment is by mamaelephant. Love the simple and modern look of this card.
See you soon...
