Altenew stamps

Hi there,

This is my second post, today! In here i am sharing two cards I made using Altenew stamps.

 Here is my first card.

For this I use Altenew -striped flowers set and colored it with copic. I am getting grip on copic colouring now. Love them. Sentiment is by Penny Black.

For the second card, I have used Figure Effect. I love this set for its whimsical, fun filled stick figures.

I used tiny - i love you- stamp to make a backdrop for the main panel. I also added gold splatter on it. Green slopes are made using Hero Arts Ink Daubers. 'More than ...' sentiment is by mamaelephant. Love the simple and modern look of this card.
See you soon...

Blending inks for butterflies

Hello Friend,

This is my third post today. I made this card using Mama Elephant inks and Heidi Swap Stencil. Totally inspired by Laura's  ink blending with pigment inks. Love her work & her videos.

I used Hero Arts - News print stamp to partially stamp my a2 size card base with memento black ink.
Used various inks with ink blending tool to create those butterfly. I love how the colors pop against blact text. Sentiment is from Simon says and Papertrey ink stamp.

Vintage roses - generation stamping

 Hi there,

Today, I have made two cards with Altenew - Vintage roses stamps and Mamaelephant Pigment Inks.
I love this set but often hesitate to use it as i don't have very many inks in a single colour family. Well, I tried generation stamping with these inks and loved it.

I used Plumberry ink and three generation stamping for above card.

For the next one, I have used Tutti Frutti (3 generation) Lollipop (3 generation). The yellow rose is 4 layers stamp and with single ink it wasn't working for me. So, I used two inks and 1st and 2nd generation of both.

I made this little chart to show you how i mix and mach inks .

Hope I inspire you to take out your stamps and give this a try. It is fun and economical too.

Keep crafting...hugs!

Ombre - Virginia's View Challenge

Hi Friend ,

It's been a while since I played along Virginia's challenge. But I made this card for me DT post On Crafters Corner Blog  and thought this will go perfectly with on going challenge. The theme is monochromatic/ ombre.

My take on this is

I have used Hero Arts - Twid Pattern Background stamp for the frame. And this very old hero art stamp. This set is very close to my heart as it was gifted by a very good friend , years back!

All the inks are by Mama Elephant. As Laura says they blend like butter. I just love these inks. I used Simon Says Stamps stitched rectangle die and sentiment.

Hope you are playing along this fun challenge too.

Love

PPP water color blog hop

Hi there,

My second entry for pretty pink posh water color blog hop.

I have embossed Mamaelephant Trifecta stamp in white and added various Ken Oliver Color Burst pigments in different triangles. Sentiment is by PTI.

Linking it to

I want to enter one more time in this ...so see you soon with another water color card.

Color burst for water color blog hop

Hello friends,

Today, I am trying  Ken Oliver's Color Burst pigments. These are powder pigments which gets activated when come in contact with water. They are very concentrated and very vibrant. Sprinkle little bit of powder on paper & spritz it with water and just see the magic happen... colors come alive. I am absolutely in love with these little bottles of HAPPY.

I made background panel with Pathalo Green & Ultramarine Blue. Gorgeous gorgeous colours. Diecut the word with Lil inker die and mount the negative with foam tape on white card base. Sentiment is made with Dymo label maker. I also added a strip of washi tape under it.

I am entering this for Water Color Blog Hop hosted by Pretty Pink Posh.

See you soon with more of these happy colours.
