Spellbinders Stamps and dies

Hello Friends,

Today, I am super excited to share this post. A month back, I received some goodies from Spellbinders. Because of my ill health it took me so long to use them.

They are 2 combos of cling rubber stamps and coordinating dies by Debi Adams - Twisted and New Arrival. I love how concise  these combos are. They are very cost effective too as dies are part of the set. They have whimsical images and i just love the wordplay of  sentiments.

Let me show you what I created using them.

I created two cards using Twisted set. For the above card, I cut multiple masks with pretzel die and placed them on the bottom of a white card stock panel. I ink blended honey mustard, fossilized amber  and ground espresso distress inks. As we all know, the spellbinder dies are one of the best and give really crisp die cuts.

I stacked few diecuts for the dimension and colored the top one using copics. I also heat embossed few dots in white for salt.

For this one, I heat embossed those sprinkles on a beige cards base. On a small off white panel I heat embossed sentiment in black, edge in gold and mounted two pretzel die cuts in red and gold!
Added few blings for finishing touch. It is a simple card but the texture of all the papers and heat embossing makes it really elegant.

Next card showcase the New Arrival stamp-die combo!

Isn't that a sweet stamp?

I inked a scrap piece of white CS and cut zillion stars out of it using 2 stars from the die.
Mounted all the stars on top part of white card-base. I also cut 3 clouds and use the negative to ink a small white panel. The focal image of  stork is colored with copics and die cut using co-coordinating die.

It is an excellent set to make baby announcement cards as the die is there which makes mass production easier.

I hope you are inspired by the cards.

I am really grateful to Team Spellbinders &  Yana Smakula for  giving me this opportunity and believing in me ! I hope you like my creations.

Thank you so much for being here!

Hello Friends,

Today, I am sharing 2 cards I made for blog hop @ Jane's Doodles. We are releasing three new sets which you are going to love. They are Happy Camper, Patterns and Out Doors. These are beautiful sets which you can use for Holiday cards too. Love their versatility!

First card is made using Happy Camper set.

First I cut the edge of the panel using a die. I used masks of the images and stamped them to create a scene. All the images are colored using copic markers and colored pencils. I also stamped a pattern on white card base to add some interest.

For the second card, I stamped moose  and raccoon , colored and fussy cut them.

I cut two frames from burnt orange and white card stock. I colored internal pieces of white frames using distress oxides and stamped them with few patterns from Patterns set. I also stamped sentiment in black  and added fussy cut images.

Don't you think these are most adorable sets? I am totally in love with them.

Oh Ship!

Hi there,

It is my turn on Jane's Doodles blog and i have made a birthday card using her Oh Ship stamp set.

The card colors were inspired by those blue and red pattern papers. They have anchor pattern so I thought it will go well with ship stamp. I made narrow stripes and glued them for that nautical feel. This stamp is very versatile. It can be used for baby card and belated birthday too. ' Oh Ship...I missed your birthday' ...:)

Thanks to be here. Hugs!

Fabulous You

Hello there,

I am here with a card which includes one of my most favorite plant leaf - Monstera ! I just love that leves...they are so elegant, huge and at the same time delicate.  The new release from Jane's Doodles is all about tropical. It has a cute Monstera leaf stamp so I decided to use it for my today's card.

I stamped the leaf on water color card stock, heat embossed in white and water colored them. Once it was dry I also painted the background. I stamped the same leaf on the back of glitter cs and fussy cut it to make that golden leaf embellishment.

Keep crafting & have a lovely day!

Craftreat Tribal stencils

Hello Friends,

Today I have some thing other than cards. I am using Craftreat Tribal stencils on canvas and wood. When I saw these designs, I was delighted as they are really unique and out of the box designs. They are perfect to create DIY home decor, furnishing and much more. It is a picture heavy post. So seat back and enjoy!

Love, love, love these wood slices from Letzcraft. I painted 1 coat of white gesso and 2 coats of white acrylic paint for the base. I used three design for THIS stencil and black gesso . I added golden details with metallic acrylic paint and tooth pick. Once it was dry, seal with clear varnish.

Next projects are on canvas panel. I have used 3 6x6 and 3 3x3 panels.

I painted all 3 6x6 panels with black gesso- 2 coats. Once dry, apply golden embossing paste using THIS background stencil. Keep it for drying. For 3 smaller panel, I did experiment with white, green, yellow and blue camelin artist acrylic colors and liquitex pouring medium. You can create background any way you want it. Stencil 3 design from THIS tribal stencil using black gesso. Add details with golden metallic paint and tooth pick. Adhere small panel in the center of 6x6 panel using hot glue gun. This is fantastic way to create dimension and interest in you diy project.

The delicate details of back ground.

The gloden embossing paste looks awesome in person.

Last is 6x8 canvas and acrylics. Here I wanted to show how you can mask and use stencil differently.

This was totally inspired from google images. I painted background in different shades of yellows.

I used THIS stencil for figures. First, I masked everything but faces, legs and hands. Used balck gesso to stencil. clean the stencil.  Once gesso was dried, I realigned the stencil and mask legs, faces and hands. I used some metallic green and pink for stenciling. When everything was dry, i added details with white sharpie. Added some tribal motif in the background using one of the older stencil of Craftreat.

You can make couple of different sizes and hang them in a collage.

I hope you will give it a try. I had to use the material provided for the post but I would suggest you to use stretched canvas instead of 6x6 and 6x8 panels as they are easier to hang on the wall and the details on the sides look really professional. Panels require framing for hanging and they bend too.

Thanks for being here.

It is just a phase

Hello friends,

Today, I am sharing two cards I made using Pinkfresh Studio - Constellation stamp set and coordinating dies.

ConstellationConstellation die set

This set is one one of a kind and matching dies are interesting too. Instead of cutting just stamped shapes, these dies has supportive elements which makes it very versatile.

Here goes my first card.

I stamped the big galaxy stamp using  MISTI and 5 different altenew inks on a 4.2x5.5 inch panel. Added a die cut (phases of moon) and a sentiment. I stamped two stars on a side of my A2 size base card and added stamped panel using foam for dimension.

For the second card...

...i painted galaxy on water color paper, splattered  with white acrylic paint. I tore the edge of water color paper and mounted everything in such a way the it looks like that red paper clip is holding everything.

Love the simplicity but effectiveness of both the cards. What about you? Let me know...:). Thank you for being here. Have a great day!
