Jane's Doodles Blog Hop - Xmas release

Hello Friends,

It's been a while since we had blog hop @ Jane's Doodles. We are releasing three Christmas sets.

Deck The Halls                             Driving Home For Christmas               Holy Night

Deck the Halls                          Driving Home For Christmas              Holy Night

So let's start with the cards.

This - Deck the halls set is all about ornaments. Various sizes and shapes of the ornaments are perfect to use for card as well as tags. They are fun to water color. I have white embossed the ornaments, color loosely with water colors and fussy cut! Sentiment is from Merry Christmas set ( beautiful sentiments in bold fonts). Pine branches are from an old stamp set (Christmas Blessings) .

I also made these two cute tags with the same set.

Next, I am using Driving Home for Christmas set.

This is a fun stamp set.  I decided to make a slider card with it. I started with stamping, coloring and fussy cutting car, wagon and stack of gifts. I cut inside parts of car windows too and backed it with clear acetate so when the car slides, the background and trees are visible from the window. , I stamped and embossed birch tree trunks from Wise Owl set. Painted the background with cracked pistachio and peacock feathers distress inks. I also painted the tree trunks using hickory smoke distress ink. Glued some white glitter for the snow. Added sentiment and white acrylic paint's splatter to finish it off.

Here is a tiny video to see it in action.

I also made this set of 4"x4" cards and envelopes in a vintage style. I had this postmark pattern papers form Papertrey Ink and decided to pair it up with these stamps.

I had few wood slice coasters from my garden tree. I stamped on them with archival ink and colored using tombow brush markers. There are scopes for improvement but not bad for the first try.  The trees are from an old stamp set.

That is all for today! I will be posting more from these stamp sets as I start preparing for this years Christmas cards. So keep watching this space.

We are super happy as Jennifer McGuire is also joining this blog hop as a guest designer. All clear stamps are 20% off through weekend.

I Love Math Challenge #7

Hello Friends,

It is the time for another math challenge at Milka's blog

The theme for the challenge is no 7. You can use 7 elements, 7 colors, no. 7...anything!

This time , Valentina Bizjak of Barvito malo mesto, an amazing crafter and blogger from Slovenia is also joining us! She has a very interesting card to share on the blog!

Here goes my card!

I was brain storming to use 7 in some interesting way and I remembered this die by Kelly Purkey . I CASEd my own old card as It fits the theme. I took 7 days a week as a focal point and enhanced the theme by using 7 as a background and highlighting 7 in the sentiment.
I hope you like my idea!
Please visit the main challenge blog HERE to check the details and link up.

Thanks to be here. Can't wait to see what all you create!

You are beautiful

Hello friends,

Lately, I was tied up with so many bulk orders that at times, I was feeling like deny all of them and just play with my craft supply! Does it happen to you?

But all of them are done and hopefully I will be back on my happy track for Christmas !

Making this card was really fun! It is for Jane's Doodles blog.

I have used Lily and Butterflies stamp from her store.

I know...it is gorgeous...:P:P:P! Isn't it?

I inked the front panel of card with candid apple distress oxide and mahogany distress ink. Lilies were stamped and cut using scan-n-cut. I colored them with hickory smoke distress ink and added some red and white details with gel pens. White embossed sentiment and few clear dew drops were enough to finish it off.

Looks like I took X-Ray of tiger lilies...:P ! But i loved it and enjoyed a lot!
Hope you will like it as well!

thanks so much!
