You are a Blessing

Hi there,

It is Jane's Doodles DT post today! I recently ordered few of her sets along with this Anemone  so I tried it out today.

I stamped it with archival black ink on a smooth Kraft card stock and coloured it with Inktense pencils by Derwent. First I laid down pigments and blended a little bit with wet brush. Allowed it to dry and went over with same pencils for that sketchy look. I also added some highlights with white pencil. I used white gel pen for centre of the flower.

Here is the close up:

Pretty easy isn't it! I splatter some gold paint and added a leaf charm with help of twine to finish it off!

That is all for today! Thanks for visiting my space...:) Lots of love and keep crafting!

Guest design post @Color Conception

Hello Friends,

I am Guest Designing @ The Craft Shop Blog . They have introduced a white card stock  Bielo!

If you know me, I am always looking for the best white card stock as that is the heart and soul of my cards. In past, I found Neenah (which is US brand ) and I love it. I still do. For around a year that was my staple...:) . But I like to keep some options ready as consistent availability of  a product depends on so many variable factors and hence I keep on trying different papers whenever it is possible. Few months back I found this paper and at first, I was in disbelief that I found my dream card stock.( you don't have to believe any of my words...just try once and you will know I am not at all exaggerating) I happily used it for few months and thought of sharing with Priya. She was really impressed with it and told me she will look into it. Time passed and I even forgot that I shared it with her. Last week, she called me to say that she found a source for the paper and she is going to import it. And that's how I got to write this post.

I also have a video (copic coloring) to share with you on their blog. Please visit HERE for more details and to see complete projects.

Give this card stock a try because I am loving it and I bet you will love it too.

Thanks & Hugs!

You are TEArrific

Hey friends,

I am on Jane's blog today with my DT post.  I am a coffee as well as tea lover. My morning starts with a large cup of tea (chai - with a dash of fresh ginger &/or mint). In evening I enjoy green tea with lemon....pure heaven.
Here is the card I made.

I used Stripes and Dots set to make my background with versamark ink. The stacked cups are from TEArrific  set. I stamped them with archival ink on white card stock and coloured them in spring colours with inktense pencils. I added white tread & tea bags for some 3D effect. last I added tiny butterfly puched out from glitter paper.

Close Up:

I also added some details with white gel pen and tombow marker.

I am linking this to Spring - Coffee Lover Blog Hop ( If Inlinkz works).

That is all for today! Keep crafting...see you soon!

Canvas Coasters

Hey Friends,

Yesterday I shared two canvas coasters and today I am here with all of them. I got these coasters from Michales more than a year back. Some how I kept on postponing as working with acrylics is always messier  for me. I hardly take process pics to prevent my phone from smearing up.

Two more designs

Made 6 in total

Back side is lined with cork sheet.

Material Used:

Stamps : Jane's Doodles and Verve stamps.
Acrylic colors
Archival Black Ink
Heroarts & Penny Black Stencils
Ranger Multi Medium to seal it.

I cant' describe how much fun I had making these. I always love when I can stretch my supply and can make something other than cards.

I am entering these for Darnell's NBUS # 6 challenge. ( My NBUS is those coasters). If you don't know about her go read her blog posts HERE . She is the most kind and generous person I have seen in this craft community. Her posts are super witty and can light up any gloomy soul. I just love her.

That is all for today! I have quite a few  posts lined up for coming week. Let's see how am I going to manage...:P . Thanks for stopping by!

Canvas Coasters - Jane DT

Hi friends,

I am here to share my post for Jane's Doodles blog. I have made a card and canvas tea coasters.

For the card I have used Garden Friends and Wise Owl ( sentiment) stamp sets. I images are coloured with copics. I wanted polkadot background to compliment all the circular things going on the card. But as I have very limited supply of pattern paper, I couldn't find one. So I decided to use these two tiny stamps from the same set to create my own PP. I love how it turned out. These stamps are tiny but have amazing detail and very crisp.

A close - up.

For the coasters I have used Coffee Time set. See how versatile these stamps are.

I have used acrylic colours on canvas coasters and Black archival ink for stamping. it is sealed with multi matte medium. Sentiment is from Verve Stamps. I have made more of these coasters which I will share in my next post.

Thanks for stopping by.

Jane's Doodles : Doodle Flowers

Hello friends,

I am on Jane's Doodles blog today with a water coloured card using Doodle Flowers stamp set. As we all know that all her stamps are hand drawn which gives a unexplainable charm to designs. This doodle flowers stamps are the most versatile stamps I have ever used.

Today, I have created a card using peerless water colors, white embossing powder and some sequins.

Hope you will enjoy my creation. Thank you so much for taking time out to stop by.
