Altenew challenge

Hey Friends,

Popping up here to share a card I made for Altenew February Challenge - From Places Abroad - Cyprus.

Here is the inspiration picture.

February Challenge: From Places Abroad - Cyprus

and here is my card.

I was inspired by the colours grey, golden, blue, black. I used Sketchy city - America to translate that overall geometric look of inspiration picture. Those black branches ( Hennah Elements)  are inspired by the black iron grill on the door. I also used Happy die to cut a foil paper and substituted 'happy' from the sentiment with die cut. For sky I have used ocean waves ink and few distress inks.

I just love how it turned out. thanks for stopping by. Let me know how you find it in the comment below. I would love to read it...:)

Hugs.

Jane's Doodle : Pretty Peonies

Hello friends,

I am back with Jane's Doodles DT post using her Pretty Peonies stamp set. This is the first stamp set which made me fall in love with her designs. I love colouring these flowers. There is something about it that every time I see it , I want to colour it! ( or may be it is just crazy me...:P ). I have paired it with sentiment from Wise Owl set (which is in high demand and always out of stock on her site... but if you are in India it is available HERE ) and coloured them with copics.

That is all for today! Have a lovely weekend !

Spotlight Blog Hop : Jane's Doodle

Hello Friends,

It is Spot Light Blog Hop @ jane's Doodles today!

We are showcasing Love stamp set as Valentine's day is nearing and we thought this might help you to get some last minuet ideas. And as you all know by now, bloghop = sale + chance to win a set @ Jane's ...:). Have fun hopping!

I have made two cards to share.

For the first one I used all those tiny stamps to make my own pattern paper. I choose aqua, yellowish moss green and light grey card stock to create different layers. sentiment is stamped with pigment inks & heat embossed. '&' is stamped with archival ink on top of 'you' and 'me'. Now the best part....I used that pink crochet heart which comes along with
every parcel we receive.( handmade by Jane and loved by us...:) ) to finish the card.

For second card, I used that scalloped border stamp to make a frame. I applied white acrylic on craft CS, allow it to dry, stamp the sentiment with black archival ink, mount frame with foam tape. Add button and glittery hear to embellish it.

I just love that rustic look of white acrylic background.
So, start hopping and enjoy 20% off during weekend. Leave us comments for you chance to win
a stamp set of your choice.

                  Neha (That's Me!)

Have fun and keep crafting. Thanks a lot for stopping by.

Jane's Doodle : Love

Hello Friends,

Just popping in real quick to share a card I made for Jane's Blog. The colours are inspired from this washi tape. It was a gift from my student from Melbourn. Love those hues of pinks and oranges.

I have used newest set called Love and my old favourite Hello Friend. Colours are distress inks. Kept those foxes black and white with a hint of grey so that they will pop against busy colourful background.
That is all for today. See you tomorrow with a new card...:)
Lots of love!

For today's post, I am using Altenew's Wild Hibiscus stamp set for my projects.

I have used gold embossing powder and copics to add tad bit of blush into the flowers.

The butterflies are stamped with archival ink and coloured with Cracked pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and blue print distress inks.

For this card, I stamped flowers and leaves with light altenew inks and coloured with copics. These inks are not only best for layered stamping but blends superbly with copics. I fussy cut flowers. I used Ranger's white enamel for details in the centre of flowers.

I hope you will like these projects. Please visit the store, I am sure you will love their collection.
Thank you for stopping by.
Hugs and lots of love.

Coffee Love

Hey there,

This is my second post today. And it is Jane's Doodles DT post. I have used Coffee Time set. Ya, I am telling you...this one is going to be my favourite for long long time.

Here is my card.

I stamped images using masks with archival ink.  I cut the centre with a tag die and hold the tag in its place with washi tape and embossed the corner of the card. I coloured images on the tag with peerless water colours . I cut 6 more tags out of CS and stacked them under the coloured tag for dimension.

I had so much fun making this...:)

That's all for the day! I will be back soon. Hugs.

Love your Scraps!

Hi friends,

I am on Paru's Card making Challenge Blog  as a guest designer for  Febuary . Having our own Indian Challenge Blog was my dream but due to my laziness I never started it. When Paru started it last month I was thrilled to participate & feel honoured to be a GD this month. There were many awesome entries and  some fabulous prices too.

This month's challenge  is  Valentine themed card or tag using scrap.I hardly use pattern paper but I love them. I can't let go even smallest of scrap. Another thing I hoard is die cut negatives. I always feel there are so many  possibilities with them which remain unexplored and scrap gets piled up. See what I mean...

I made THIS card a while ago in which I use many stitched panels to create comic book look. I am using that negative and scrap pattern paper to create today's card.

...and the card!

I adhered different PP scrap form the back of each window with 3d tape for creating shadow box effect. I used reverse confetti stamp set   , some wood veneer arrows and heart and bow die cuts. I feel all the elements in different windows help to enhance the more part of the sentiment.

For tag, I simply glued strips of different PP scrap on some leftover CS and die cut the tag. Try doing this with different dies. you will get some really unexpected results.

I just added hand cut 'U' , some stacked hearts and dymo label sentiment to finish it .

Close Up...

also added faux stitching detail with golden pen on hearts.

Hope you will be inspired to use the scrap and create something beautiful and take part in this month's challenge.  The challenge will run from 1st to 25th and there are two prizes.

$25 from Jane's Doodles

1000/- INR from Craft Adda

So, take out all that scraps you are hiding everywhere in your craft room and show it some love. Have fun. See you soon!
